CEMS provided Designs, Specifications, and Construction period services for the construction of a new 6,046 SF Recreational Therapy Center necessary to support the Domiciliary, Long Term Care, Mental Health and other patient services provided by the Carl Vinson VAMC, Dublin, GA.
The Wellness Center incorporated Green Building features, such as energy efficient construction materials and equipment, enhances use of natural light, and use of recycled materials in order to minimize lifecycle operating costs and limit the environmental impacts resulting from new construction.
The exterior was designed to be compatible with the existing architecture on site. This project will support the continuous improvement of quality and safety of healthcare for veterans and promote patient-centered care and excellent customer service.
